How to Create a Profile
All Style Mavens will need to create a profile with the following information. Most fields are mandatory, but only a select few personal details will be made public:
First name: (public)
Profile picture (public):
Display name (public):
About you (public) [length 100-250 words is ideal] Speak about yourself in a way to really differentiate yourself and to attract the people you prefer to shop with.
Eg: I’m an experienced Personal Stylist who has lived (and shopped) in Brisbane for the past 20 years.
Think of me like a fashionable friend who can help you make smart purchases that translate your personality and best features into a look that you love.
I love helping people, chatting and making people feel good about themselves. I’ll use our style session to show you how to shop for your body type, suggest style and colour combinations for you to try, show you new fashion ideas to update your look or develop your unique style.
Shopping to me is not about purchasing everything you lust after, or needing the most exclusive items, but rather about selecting quality items that make you look and feel fabulous and that will last for years. I can absolutely help you shop to your budget and give you honest dressing-room feedback.
I really love what I do and I hope you agree our Spree is a fun and liberating experience.
I also love travelling and I understand all too well the difficulty for travellers to find genuine local fashion and stylish experiences outside of the 'tourist traps'!
View my Sprees available, in the places I'm most familiar with: Queen Street Mall, Fortitude Valley and James Street.
Relevant Training and/or experience (public): Be specific but keep it brief.
Eg: I studied Fashion Design at the University of Queensland (2015). I have worked as an independent Personal Stylist and Shopper for the last 3 years, in addition to 5 years' experience in retail.
Describe my style (public): This isn’t supposed to be too serious, but it helps attract the right clients for you.
Eg. I’ve got a very distinct style that usually includes a nod to mod or boho. I prefer to shop Australian designs. I’m not afraid to mix old with new, or designer with op-shop finds.
Languages other than English (public) (not a mandatory field): This is a tick-a-box field
3 Fast Facts About Me (public): Keep it light - this will help Clients generate conversation or choose you if they identify with something you’ve written.
Eg. I'm a mum of 2 children, I play the ukelele, I like making costumes
Locations Offered (public): A summary of destinations where you have listed Sprees
Eg. Brisbane: Queen Street Mall, Fortitude Valley and James Street.
